Grown and produced in the Aipe region, known for its rich soil and idyllic climate for growing coffee. Aipe is surrounded by the Magdalena, Aipe, Baché, and Pata rivers, and high mountain peaks. But sadly, this beautiful region was at the center of the armed guerilla conflict, which for too long dramatically impacted producers’ ability to conduct their coffee businesses. More recently, growers have been able to access grants and programs that enable them to invest in their farms. Many producers also have been able to meet multiple certifications, which enables them to negotiate higher prices for their superior products. This coffee showcases their efforts with a smooth body, and notes of toasted walnut and orange citrus, for a sweet and comforting cup.
